Enrichment Programme - Lecturers
The World offers a diverse Enrichment Programme, featuring a variety of lecturers covering many different topics. For our lecture programme, we focus primarily on: region specific, destination specific and general interest lecturers.
Lecturers must be experienced, professional and present a positive image while sailing onboard. The dress code when giving a lecture is always suit and tie for gentlemen and pants suit for ladies. Lectures should be 35-45 minutes in length with visual aides such as slides or Microsoft PowerPoint.
Enrichment Programme - Guest Entertainers
Our Enrichment Programme also features diverse entertainment from Cabaret acts to local musicians and dance shows. If you would like to be considered for a Guest Entertainer position onboard THE WORLD, please submit a promotional package to the address below (submissions cannot be returned).
Enrichment Programme - Musicians
In addition to our Guest Entertainers, The World also features a Cocktail Pianist and Trio. Cocktail Pianists should have a large repertoire for background music and sing-a-longs. Trios should have a large repertoire including a variety of styles of dance music.
